Save £1,500 on a New Electric Peugeot at Leominster Motors 

On 15th July 2025, the UK Government announced a new £650 million Electric Car Grant (ECG) scheme. This is part of the UK’s Plan for Change, designed to help households save money while accelerating the switch to greener, zero-emission vehicles.

The grant provides support for vehicles priced at £37,000 or below, with eligibility based on the sustainability of vehicle manufacturing.

We are pleased to confirm that the following Peugeot models are officially approved for the government’s electric vehicle grant, offering eligible customers a £1,500 saving:

• Peugeot E-208
• Peugeot E-2008
• Peugeot E-Rifter

In addition, we are also extending this £1,500 saving to the following models in anticipation of further approvals:

• Peugeot E-308
• Peugeot E-308 SW
• Peugeot E-408

Grants are allocated on a first come, first served basis by the Department for Transport’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles.

It applies to the Qualifying Vehicles, ordered from 16 July 2025.The Grant will be deducted from the on-the-road Manufacturer Recommended Retail Price (“MRRP”) of the Qualifying Vehicles at the point of order and cannot be redeemed for cash or combined with any other retail offer unless explicitly stated.

It is the responsibility of the retailer to verify that the customer meets the eligibility requirements set by the UK government. If eligible, the retailer will apply for the Grant on the customer’s behalf.
