Leominster Motors – Peugeot Electric Car Offers & Government Grant Savings

Save up to £3,750 on a New Electric Peugeot.

On 15th July 2025, the UK Government launched a new £650 million Electric Car Grant (ECG) initiative as part of its ongoing commitment to help households make the switch to cleaner, zero-emission vehicles and cut transport costs.

The ECG provides tiered grant levels for electric vehicles priced at £37,000 or less, with eligibility linked to the sustainability of each vehicle’s manufacturing process.

• Top grant available: £3,750 – for models with the lowest carbon footprint
  Second-tier grant: £1,500

Peugeot is working closely with the UK Government to finalise the list of qualifying models. At this stage, we expect selected electric versions of the Peugeot 208, 2008, and 308 to be eligible.

Grants will be approved by the Department for Transport’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) on a first come, first served basis, so don’t delay.
