Fuel & Tax Costs

The fuel prices shown are updated weekly based on the national average and may not be representative of fuel prices in your area. Please adjust accordingly for a more accurate cost.

CO2 (g/km): 0
MPG: N/A

Road fund licence year 2 onwards: £195

MPG figures are obtained from laboratory testing and intended for comparisons between vehicles. They are unlikely to represent real world efficiency.

You have to pay an extra £425 a year if you have a car or motorhome with a ‘list price’ (the published price before any discounts) of more than £40,000. You only have to pay this rate for 5 years (from the second time the vehicle is taxed).

You do not have to pay this if both of the following apply:

  • you have a zero emission vehicle
  • the vehicle was registered before 1 April 2025

Note that some newer diesel vehicles may qualify for lower road tax. Please check with your dealership.
